GCC Store Calculators: Delivered Margin, COD Break-Even, Repeat Rate

Three quick checks most store owners get wrong

No sign-up, no jargon. Every box starts with our real numbers — type yours over them and the answer updates as you go.

Whose numbers? Ours, from a store we run out of Dubai shipping to 40+ countries. Costs are read off real courier bills, rounded, in AED — the sums work in any currency as long as every box matches.

Are you actually making money on an order?

The delivery you pay for is bigger than the delivery you charge. On some countries you also quietly pay the customer’s customs bill.

These are our numbers. Type yours over them.

Total they pay, including delivery.

Think of every 100 dirhams a customer pays you:

0 if delivery is free.
Sell at 100, pay the factory 15, put 15.

Costs are averaged from a few hundred real shipments across 24 countries. UAE home delivery is our own estimate; every other country is off an invoice.

Is cash on delivery still paying for itself?

A refused parcel is not a missed sale. It is a bill: you paid to ship it out, clear customs, and ship it back, with nothing coming in.

These are our numbers. Type yours over them.

Refused, undelivered, or sent back. Count repeat failed attempts too.

Cash in, minus product, delivery and fees. Not the order value.
Ship out + customs + ship back.

Built from every cash-on-delivery order we shipped to Saudi Arabia over fifteen months. Ours broke even around 20 in 100. We sat at half that and quietly made money, then one bad quarter pushed us over 30 and it started bleeding.

What are your one-time buyers costing you?

A customer who comes back costs nothing to win. If most never do, you are buying your whole month from ads again, every month.

These are our numbers. Type yours over them.

Most owners guess high. Ours was about 12.
Moving it 5 is a good year’s work.

From the first check above.

From our own customer list: close to nine in ten people who ever bought from us bought once and never came back. The ones who did return came back inside about five weeks, so the demand was there. Nobody was working it.

Found a leak? Here’s exactly what we did about it.

We got all three of these wrong before we got them right. Pick the one that stings and we’ll send you the real fix we used, the actual steps, not a pitch. You don’t have to tell us a single one of your numbers.

Which one do you want to fix?

You’ll also see how your numbers land next to other GCC stores. One useful follow-up, then nothing. Reply “stop” any time.

Came out healthy instead? Then you know your economics better than most store owners do. Hit reply and tell us how you got there, we’re building a picture of what good actually looks like across GCC stores, and we’ll send it back to you.
